Last week, Jota Aviation were asked at short notice, by an established charter broker to fly the Secretary of State forScotland, Michael Moore, in our King Air to observe an instillation in the North Sea. The mission involved a nonstandard flight to view the platform from the air. In order to achieve the objectives, our Safety Management team prepared a detailed flight plan and bespoke safety precautions to ensure the mission was successful, and above all, safe.

Following the Budget announcement, on Thursday 22 March, the Minister travelled from Aberdeen with representatives from a major oil company.

A senior representative of the oil company commented:

“The Secretary of State had a very tight schedule so the entire trip and press conference had to be slick. The aircraft arrived on time, completed the round trip on time and the passengers all commented on the comfort of the cabin and the in-flight service. A job well done!”
